A rethinking of space, a rethinking of the body and a rethinking of a design processes involving both are long overdue within space-related disciplines. Over the last decades, architectural discourse has been invigorated by opening up container conceptions of space, by exploring a new dynamic understanding of space and focusing on its production processes. But a systematic, theoretically-informed understanding of the body along the same terms has yet to be achieved.
Her research work deals with the relationship of architecture and art, as well as examination of border instability of employment and conditions of overcoming disciplinary restrictions. She concerns with the design of the interior, and the phenomenon of sensation in the experience of interior space. She is the author and producer of many interior projects in Serbia and abroad. The subject of this research is the art installation, a spatial creativity that arises in relation between art and architecture. In a more narrow definition, the subject of the research is installations created in the formative period of the 60s and 70s up to the present. Ideas concerning new sets of relations between the subject and a spatial order indicate the potential of the use of the concept of art installations in architectural design.

During my early introduction to architecture I found that I was motivated not only by matters pertaining to what architecture is, but also, to what it can do. Thus, the questions motivating this work derive from my education in architecture which, at their most rudimentary level, entail a deep fascination with the nature of space, and thus the problem of time. And, subsequently, a practical desire to understand the conditions that constituted experience, and thus perception, sensation and mind. My interest also developed from a general disposition towards others and world founded in principles of human equality and rights with respect to both freedom and responsibility. During my years practicing architecture, these questions as they were brought through the perspective of design continued to inspire me.
